By today's standards, it's a decidedly bland-looking catalogue. The unassuming design on its two-color cover resembles the surface of a board game, with small squares containing art from a handful of the books described within. The "directions" to the board game are presented at the far right: "START HERE to build an individualized reading program of award-winning literature for every child in grades 2-8."
