THE GREAT Japanese designer, Yohji Yamamoto, was the first big name to show at the Paris collections yesterday. Once again, the man who revolutionised fashion at the beginning of the Eighties was on sublime form. Yamamoto is the designers' designer - as if to prove the point Giorgio Armani, Donna Karan, Azzedine Alaia and Alexander McQueen all took pride of place in his front row. And not to disappoint his loyal following, Yamamoto offered perhaps the most lovely master class in fashion history.
