Having already raised half of the $8 million it needs to build a new facility, the Marblehead-Swampscott YMCA is now looking to the community for donations. The goal of the public phase of the capital campaign, "Y It's Time: The Campaign to Build a New YMCA Now," is $2 million. Another $2 million is expected to be raised through additional donations, grants, and sale of the current Y property in downtown Marblehead.
