X Cafe LLC, a manufacturer of shelfstable coffee extracts, is now offering organic coffee in extract form. Jay Elfman, sales manager--East, noted, "We are now certified organic by Organic Certifiers, an accredited firm under the USDA National Organic Program. This allows us to provide organic coffee extract by special customer request in either Bag-in-Box for beverage, or totes for ingredient use. The certification was received after an audit by the firm to review our processing methods and batch records."
