Monarch Notes 01-01-1963 Brief Summary Of The Mysterious Stranger In the winter of 1590, the small village of Eseldorf in Austria is filled with superstitious peasants still mentally living in the Middle Ages. Three young village boys, Nikolaus, Seppi and Theodor enjoy the freedom of the hills and valleys nearby.
