Females may not talk with men on Afghan city streets

Kabul, Afghanistan -- Women caught talking with men on the streets of Herat, a major city in western Afghanistan, risk being seized by special morals police, taken to a hospital and forced to undergo an exam to determine if they have had sex, according to a report issued Monday by Human Rights Watch.
