This article explores the idea of Aboriginal nationalism as a nationalism unto itself. In so doing, this article presents a preliminary study of Blackfoot nationalism as both an historical reality and a contemporary phenomenon from the perspective of an outsider and in a manner accessible to a Eurocentric thinker.
