BLUES WANT-AWAY lock Ali Williams is on the verge of signing for Tasman. The Herald on Sunday understands there are one or two minor details to be worked through but the move is expected to be signed, sealed and delivered to the top of the South Island by early next week. The move will let Williams play for the Crusaders, his choice of Super 14 franchises after falling out with Blues coach David Nucifora when he was sent home from a trip to Australia and South Africa this past campaign.
