SUFFOLK -- SUFFOLK - William "Billy" Wilson, 65, passed away Jan. 17, 2008, in his home in Suffolk. He was born in Norfolk, to William C. Wilson and Florence Griffin Tyler. Billy graduated from Maury High School in 1961 where he was proud to be named "Mr. Commodore" by his fellow students. After graduation from high school, he continued his education at Chowan College, earning his bachelor's degree from Old Dominion University.
