William R. Crawford, Jr., 87, formerly of Kirkwood, died Thursday at Landis Homes, Lititz. Born December 1, 1919, in Thompsontown, he was the son of the late William R., Sr. and Mary Spicher Crawford. On December 26, 2006, Mr. Crawford and his wife, Dorothy Hogg Crawford, celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary. Mr. Crawford retired in 1984 from L.M. Prange, Inc., after 47 years as a local and long distance truck driver. He worked part-time until 1990.
