Virginia Lt. Gov. L. Douglas Wilder, the Democratic candidate for governor, continues to hold a substantial lead over Republican nominee J. Marshall Coleman as Tuesday's election nears, according to a new Washington Post poll. The survey, which was conducted this week, found that Wilder is supported by 52 percent of all likely voters while Coleman is supported by 41 percent, an 11 percentage point margin.
