Maine has nearly 32,000 miles of rivers and streams. Some of those produce spectacular waterfalls and cascades.
Here are some of Maine's more impressive waterfalls, based on Milt Wright's assessment after decades of hiking along these falls. All of these are listed in the DeLorme's Maine Atlas and Gazetteer: The Cataracts on Frye Brook are along the East B Hill Road leading into Andover, near Grafton Notch State Park.
