Recently there has been a lot of talk among winemakers about a new malolactic culture, Viniflora Oenos [TM], which can be added directly to the wine without any prior preparation or adaptation. Sounds too good to be true!! That was what we thought. So we decided to learn more about this apparently unique product and the company behind it.

We visited Chr. Hansen's Laboratory, in Milwaukee, Wis. where we met with Product Manager, Niels Peter Bak, who has been the driving force behind the introduction of Viniflora Oenos to the US wineries.
