NEW YORK (FNS) -- Willcox & Gibbs, Inc., which makes covered yarn, reported earnings dropped 62.2 percent in the second quarter and 42.1 percent for the half.
Profits for the quarter ended June 30 fell to $1,351,000 or 10 cents a share, from $8,577,000, or 26 cents, a year ago. Sales increased 6.3 percent to $147,908,000 from $139,170,000.
