With so many children spending so many hours each day in front of the television, commercial programmers must be doing an excellent job of capturing their attention.
That doesn't mean you have to accept the situation and allow television to replace the valuable hours your child might spend imagining, creating, building.
Parents can influence the impact of television on their children in two ways, by controlling the on/off switch and by using the V chip.
