During the early afternoon of Sept. 18, my wife and I arrived in Boston to begin a short vacation in New England and our first holiday in the USA. Apart from a long weekend in the White Mountains, we spent all our time in Waltham and Boston. We were delighted to spend many days in Boston, a city of culture, and we found the people of Boston to be most polite, courteous, friendly, and helpful. We visited Harvard University's art museums, the Museum of Fine Arts, State House, the USS Constitution, and the Unitarian Church on Arlington Street where we were overjoyed to see Tiffany stained- glass ...
