During the early afternoon of Sept. 18, my wife and I arrived in Boston to begin a short vacation in New England and our first holiday in the USA. Apart from a long weekend in the White Mountains, we spent all our time in Waltham and Boston. We were delighted to spend many days in Boston, a city of culture, and we found the people of Boston to be most polite, courteous, friendly, and helpful.
