Valiant (U) Verdict: A valiant effort ..... VALIANT is the story of a weedy wood pigeon who becomes a World War II hero. There is a lot to celebrate in Gary Chapman's 70-minute computeranimated movie but unfortunately, none of it adds up to a very good film. The animation is well done for the relatively modest budget, but inevitably disappointing compared to the best Japanese or Pixar animation.
