NEEDHAM, MASS. -- Undine Davis Young died peacefully in her sleep at Wyngate Nursing and Rehabilitation Home in Needham on May 13, 1999. Although she lived with her son, Davis, in Newton, Mass., throughout most of the 1990s, she was forever a ``Virginia Pearl'' - from her roots as the daughter of a Chesapeake Bay oysterman, to her beauty, grace and characteristic white hair. Mrs. Young was born in Hampton on Jan. 17, 1909, to Capt. Thomas P. Davis and Undine Wiggins Davis.
