There was no shortage of hype surrounding the incoming freshmen on the Gophers men's hockey team before the start of the season, with most of it focused on those who played on the U.S. Under-18 team.
All but overlooked was the recruit who is less than 5 feet 10.
Not anymore.
Justin Bostrom, well put together at 5-9 and 173 pounds, has put together a solid first season with the nation's top-ranked team. The Vadnais Heights product has seven goals and six assists, good for ninth on the team in scoring.
