University of Minnesota officials said they will no longer use the catchy phrase "Brew's Crew" as a marketing tool for its football team and new coach Tim Brewster.

School officials said shirts with that slogan will no longer be produced by the team's booster club because they feel it is too closely connected to alcohol. The ban comes even though Brewster's nickname inside the program and to those close to him is "Brew."
