Two loans to Lucas County small businesses, including the largest SBA 504 loan ever made locally, were completed recently by the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority, according to James H. Hartung, president. Allshred Services, a document shredding company, received a $1.299 million SBA 504 loan to assist in financing the costs of acquiring land and a 45,000 square foot facility on Technology Drive in Maumee. "The SBA had a limit of $1 million for any such loan until the last year. This is the largest of the 79 SBA 504 loans completed under administration of the Port Authority," Hartung stated...
