The annual American Booksellers Association convention is a fecund mixture of art and commerce, of frivolous entertainment and serious intentions. Lasting 3 1/2 days, it was held this year, fittingly, in the shadow of Disneyland, May 28-31. Most people agreed that the location was convenient-practically all the hotels were in easy walking distance of the convention center.
