Surgical instrument maker can't afford to tool around

Four years ago Michael Gauthier, an intensely blue-eyed young man who believes he was destined to be an entrepreneur, spotted an expanding niche market for his screwdrivers and wrenches.
Please, don't refer to them as tools.
"I prefer to call them instruments," Gauthier said.
"But, they are tools," 33-year-old Gauthier acknowledged, but not the devices one would use to repair a lawn mower or a leaky faucet.
