LAC DU FLAMBEAU -- A 30-year-old dispute over land rights on the Lac du Flambeau Indian reservation has ended with a title company agreeing to pay for right of way on a road used by generations of vacation home owners.
Under the agreement, the Chicago Title Co. will pay $150,000 to cover past and future uses of Marlands Lane, which connects the land of four property owners to a county highway, said Carol Brown, an attorney for the tribe.
