What's the weather like now?

Winter's chill has warmed to summery temperatures in the high 20Cs, alleviated by a cool breeze thanks to Kohima's altitude (1,000 metres) and the early morning traders are still wrapped in beautifully woven and colourful shawls. The sun dips behind the surrounding hills by mid-afternoon, when most of the town is in shadow. May and June become progressively more humid until the monsoon season breaks in July.

What are the locals complaining about?
