In the final quarter of 2006, passenger transport saw the biggest increase in airport traffic and a decline in city bus transport. Within land passenger transport, city bus transport continued to decrease. The number of passengers transported by this mode of transport fell by 4.9% over the same quarter of 2005. Meanwhile, suburban and intercity bus transport increased by 3.3%.
