The increase in the number of overnight tourist stays in Slovenia was again relatively high in the third quarter of 2007. The number of overnight stays rose by 6.8% in this period, year on year, while the number of tourists increased by 7.5%. The relatively large increase (the highest year-on-year increase in Q3 since 2001) is also significant in terms of the high share of overnight stays generated in the third quarter (over 40% of total annual stays), which contributes to better annual results.
