There's an old saying that no one ever got fired for recommending their company buy computers made by International Business Machines. Oh, if it were only true for Wang-brand computers. We don't know if any corporate computer buyers have been fired for purchasing Wang's wares, but there are some nervous people out there since the troubled Lowell computer maker announced huge losses recently. Most of Wang's large customers, which include Polaroid, Gillette and John Hancock, are sticking with Wang.
