Finally, we have lots in common. Probably more in common than you have with your friend Maurice Greene (more about him later).

Yes, now that you are a guest columnist for USA Today, you and I are fellow journalists. We also share an agonizing love of track and field.

Since we have so much in common now, I feel we are nearly colleagues - two guys who file our stories, then grab a drink together to rehash the day's events.

I'm sure the last thing you need is a rehashing of the past two weeks' events. But journalist to journalist, Michael, you were a huge disappointmen...
