What gives with Notre Dame football? When the Fighting Irish fight-as they did when punching out Southern Cal players in a pregame brawl on a recent Saturday-Coach Lou Holtz announced he would resign if it happened again. The kids ought to ask him to quit now, for duplicity. Notre Dame football players are swamped with the glories of fighting. They dash onto and off the field to the Notre Dame fight song.
