The Amon Carter Museum of Texas will hold an exhibition of paintings by Thomas Eakins and his colleagues from Feb. to May 1996. The event will feature Eakins' oil studies, finished paintings, sketches and photographs that provide clues as to how his masterpiece 'Swimming' was created.
