Splendid Sprinter, an aptly named 4-year-old gelding who has never finished out of the money in his 12-race career (6-4-2), arrived yesterday from Aqueduct and will get a chance to show just how splendid he can be in today's $100,000 Suffolk Downs Breeders' Cup Handicap. Splendid Sprinter's impressive record includes a 2-for-2 showing at Suffolk Downs, and he will be very tough to beat.
