Nancy Meckler's Romeo and Juliet at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon - kicking off the Complete Works Festival - looks like an advert for Gucci Homme. It looks as if a big-name art director and a big-name photographer came up with an idea for an atmosphere-laden fashion shoot; West Side Story meets GoodFellas. It also looks as if such a great, inspirational time was had creating this cool and edgy-looking Mafiosi life for the Capulets and Montagues that the play itself became a bit secondary along the way.
