They're both nice guys and make baseball more fun, so let's hope neither Joe Torre nor Phil Garner watched one moment of the first two games of the World Series.

A joint press conference this morning announcing their resignations would be bad for the game.

Life's tough enough for the skippers of the Yankees and Astros these days after losing their League Championship Series.
