Notwithstanding how awful child pornography is, it's clear that the authorities in Oklahoma City overstepped last week when they went to the homes of private citizens to confiscate copies of the 1979 Oscar-winning German movie "The Tin Drum". The incident was sparked by a Pennsylvania college student who was asked to see the movie and comment on it for a class.
