With a new book out, The Life All Around Me, a sequel to her awardwinning novel Ellen Foster, Kaye Gibbons could be taking it easy. Instead she'll be stopping in St. Paul for a Talking Volumes conversation at The Fitzgerald Theater on January 26. Though the author-and her novels-have a Southern accent, their appeal crosses geographical and cultural boundaries with a huge local following.
