MARYVILLE, Mo. - One of the biggest questions the Northwest Missouri State football coaching staff had entering the offseason was which players would replace the linebacker trio of Chad Bostwick, Adam Long and Troy Tysdahl.
Combined, they recorded 235 tackles, five sacks, scooped up four fumbles and snagged three interceptions during the 2004 season.
Long was named MIAA Defensive Player of the Year. Tysdahl received first-team honors and Bostwick made honorable mention.
But now they're gone.
