The puppets are coming.
From around the country, from Canada and Israel, they're coming. With puppeteers in tow and countless hours of workshops and performances before them, they're coming. Beginning Tuesday, July 10, and ending Sunday, July 15, PuppetFest MidWest will draw in lovers and learners of the art of puppetry to Trenton, Mo., where Debbie and Peter Allen make their home and have held the workshop for the past five years. We conducted a Q and A with them to find out a little more about the couple, their art and what the festival holds.
