Little Big Denim, a Turkish newcomer to the U.S. jeans market, is not well known in this country, but that could change in very short order. Little Big's parent company, Istanbul-based CAK Tekstil, is a behemoth denim manufacturer with $300 million in annual revenues, according to Billie Yagen, Little Big's sales and marketing director in the U.S. The 56-year-old company does private-label work for the likes of Zara and has in the past produced jeans for all-American brands like the Gap and Abercrombie & Fitch.
