Drastic changes have occurred in how I write and take photos, and I'm now well into the digital age with talking computers and digital cameras. However I refuse to change some things, including how I shoot. I've been competing in Cowboy Action Shooting for a long time and while it has changed tremendously, I have not. In the early days we all shot .45 Colts and .44-40s with either full house black powder or equivalent smokeless powder loads.
We had fun, we had challenging targets, and we enjoyed shooting for fun with the same loads we would use in the real world.
