Tennessee Williams left behind a rich variety of primary documents, including letters, journals, and autobiographical essays. Williams's friends and family members have also produced a number of memoirs. Lyle Leverich has published the first volume of the official biography, 'Tom: The Unknown Tennessee Williams.' Williams' critical writing, published in 'Where I Live' and 'Conversations,' provides another good source for the author's self-revelations and interpretation of his own work.
