Most "making-of" movies - promotional fluff pieces shot during the filming of a feature movie - are a waste of celluloid. A cinematographer-wannabe runs around with a video camera, filming actors who are so bored waiting for the lighting to be set up for the next scene that they're willing to say just about anything, even if it means lying about how great they think this movie is going to be. So it might sound odd to hear a critic wish aloud that someone would put together a "Making of `Everest' " movie. But once you hear what went into the shooting of this Imax documentary, you'll be wishing...
