At Gallery dePaul, Graceann Warn's Odyssey' shows viewers the world through an artist's eyes

Artist Graceann Warn found her inspiration on a wall in Oaxaca.

"The feeling of the walls there - those amazing, textured beings that hold so many peoples' words with their graffiti and posters painted and stuccoed over for decades and decades," Warn wrote in an e-mail.

"The idea that walls are like pages and they are never erased - they are added to, painted over so that all the ideas that were ever expressed are still there! I love that. "
