Man arrested in Texas in dad's beating death
GREENVILLE - A man suspected of killing his adoptive father and burying him on the dead man's property was expected to be returned to Darke County late Monday, a sheriff's office spokeswoman said.
Jesse James Pingleton, 24, was arrested Thursday in Laredo, Texas. He faces one felony count of aggravated murder in the Dec. 15 death of David M. Pingleton, 45, whose plastic-wrapped body was unearthed Dec. 26 from a shallow grave at the Neave Twp. residence where both Pingletons lived.
