"Your father and I are going out," said Mrs. Grimola to her ten-year-old daughter Liza. "Do you think you could watch your little brother and give him his lunch?"

Liza tried not to smile too widely as she replied, "Oh, yes, I can do that, Mom! No problem!"

Liza had read two books from the library on baby-sitting and was eager to put herself to the test.

"All right, then," her mother replied. "Your father and I will see you in a couple of hours."

Then they left. Liza was all alone in the house with her five-year-old brother, Andrew. She was now responsible for him. It was a big challenge....
