THE Mail on Sunday hit another high last month, with its biggest-ever July circulation. Average sales of 2,407,481 were more than 50,000 up on the previous month and 85,000 up on the figure for July last year. This is the second-highest monthly figure recorded since the newspaper was launched 19 years ago. The Mail on Sunday's success comes as The Sunday Times, our nearest rival in the quality market, recorded a month-on-month drop of more than five per cent to 1,316,206, more than one million fewer than The Mail on Sunday.
