Gender bender

I accepted a prescription from a woman along with her insurance card. The medication prescribed was tegaserod maleate (Zelnorm, Novartis), intended for irritable bowel symptoms in women. I submitted the data for insurance coverage. My computer screen blurted out the message that labeling for this drug limited its usage to women only and not the male as indicated in my request.
