A Croatian attack on Serbian forces occupying portions of Croatia's coastal panhandle threatens to transform the guerrilla war in Bosnia into pan-Balkan mayhem. Under the eye of UN peace-keepers, the area had been uneasily quiet since the Serbs and Croats signed a cease-fire a year ago. It has now flared into a renewed Western Front.
