A SPEEDING driver had his court fine slashed yesterday after complaining that Princess Anne was ordered to pay less by the same court.
Insurance broker Graham Powell had been fined [pound]500 by Cheltenham magistrates for driving at 45.7mph in a 30mph zone last September.
However, in his appeal yesterday, he pointed out Princess Anne was given only a [pound]400 penalty by the same court last week, despite being clocked at 93mph in a 70mph zone.
