Solomon lay in his bed, thinking. Now that his father, King David, had passed away, he was the new king over the entire Jewish nation. And he was still just a boy...gradually, he drifted off to sleep.

"SOLOMON!"

Who could that be? "Yes?"

"I AM G-D WHO HAS CHOSEN YOU TO BE KING. MAKE A REQUEST AND I SHALL GRANT IT."

Whoa, thought Solomon. I could ask for money, happiness, power. But will that help me he a better king? He realized what he had to ask for.
